Robert Half Payroll Manager in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Description

We have a contract to hire Payroll Manager position in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a Payroll Manager, you will play a crucial role in supervising payroll and benefits operations while utilizing advanced accounting software systems. You will be responsible for managing both union and non-union payroll operations, ensuring all processes are executed with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the execution of payroll processes for both union and non-union employees

  • Utilize ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now systems to streamline payroll operations

  • Oversee accounting functions related to payroll and benefits

  • Ensure the accuracy of payroll records and resolve any discrepancies

  • Address all inquiries related to payroll and benefits

  • Implement and manage the Ceridian software system for improved payroll operations

  • Monitor and manage payroll-related benefits functions

  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy in all payroll operations

  • Take appropriate action on any issues arising in customer accounts related to payroll

  • Process all payroll-related customer credit applications efficiently and accurately.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a payroll management role

  • Proficiency with ADP - Financial Services

  • Experienced in using ADP Workforce Now

  • Solid understanding of accounting functions

  • Ability to manage benefit functions effectively

  • Familiarity with Benefits Payroll

  • Experience in managing ADP - Payroll

  • Experience working in non-union environments

  • Proficiency in handling Payroll - Union
