Onward Robotics Manufacturing Technician in PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will perform the assembly of electro-mechanical subcomponents and final assembly for highly technical products in accordance with approved work instructions and processes.
- Mechanical assembly using basic hand tools and power tools Fastening parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners using hand, air, and power tools
- Conduct basic continuity checks and visual inspections of components to verify proper operation
- Adhere to work instructions and procedures to manufacture products.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with approved procedures, rules, and regulations
- Performs basic quality form/fit inspections of incoming materials as needed
- Conducts rework of failed components as directed by production supervision
- Documents work progress as directed by production supervision
- Maintains safe and clean work environment
Gathers parts, subassemblies, tools, and material for job and assembles components according to drawings and work instructions
