This role will require strong consultative skills to align, create, and deliver the department's portfolio of offerings across all business areas. This key role will play a vital role in workforce development through program management, advising, creation and facilitation of content, coaching, and evaluation.Essential Functions

  • Identifies and assesses the learning and development needs of various departments; develops and executes tools and solutions through evidence-based approaches.

  • Creates, facilitates, and evaluates effective learning experiences across multiple modalities (onsite, virtual, asynchronous, e-learning, etc.).

  • Maintains compliance with training policies ensuring tools, assets, and materials are accessible to all learners. Drives the successful completion of mandatory training requirements and courses. Acts as liaison with regulatory bodies around training requirements.

  • Accountable for the maintenance of employee training records in learning management systems and educates others on the use of those systems.

  • Analyzes key business metrics and partners with stakeholders to address gaps through systematic, systemic, and sustainable solutions.

  • Creates and maintains short and long-term training plans in support of company business plans and objectives.

  • Creates and maintains curriculum including facilitator and participant materials, and e-learning courses.

  • Creates and maintains documentation related to all functions of the role.

  • Partners with vendors to maximize the impact of their expertise, tools, and resources.

  • Lead frontline and emerging leader programs through curriculum development, facilitation, and program management.

  • Creates custom workshops that align with evidence-based approaches to drive employee performance, engagement, retention, and team building.

  • Partners with stakeholders to drive personal and career growth through talent planning, succession planning, leadership development, and performance management.

  • Curates and creates content that aligns with ZOLL’s Leadership Qualities, competencies, and organizational objectives.

  • Provides coaching to leaders and employees on personal and organizational growth.

  • Regularly meets with employees about their development needs and builds lasting relationships.

  • Demonstrates coaching best practices to leaders and provides education, resources, and tools to develop a coaching culture.

  • Demonstrates a strong customer-oriented approach to internal and external customers.

  • Strengthens and builds relationships between and among internal stakeholders.

  • Accountable for internal SharePoint site to share access to offerings, training calendars, tools and resources.

  • Determines the best methods for reaching various audiences to meet department mission and strategy.

  • Serves as learning administrator.

  • Pulling reports, managing assigned learning, ensuring records are updated and accurate, etc.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline (Human Resources, Education, Psychology, Liberal Arts, etc.) required.

  • Master's Degree preferred.

  • 5+ years’ experience working with adult learners through education, training, talent development initiatives.

  • Experience with instructional design, curriculum development, human performance technology (HPT), and leadership development.

  • Intermediate to advanced experience with facilitating virtual learning events using web-conferencing technology.

  • Experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Storyline, Rise, or similar.

  • Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). Preference for experience with Workday.

  • Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
