We make touch and eye tracking based assistive technology for people with communication and mobility challenges. The success of our products has life-changing impact on our customers. Our Production and Supply Chain Team helps to further the mission by ensuring our products come to life.
What you'll do:
The Inventory Control and Warehouse Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and availability of products and supplies within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing inventory control procedures, supervising warehouse staff, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods. Key duties include monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular audits, managing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, and generating detailed reports on inventory operations. The manager also plays a crucial role in loss prevention and maintaining the security of inventory.
As an Inventory Control and Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for: Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory tracking systems to optimize inventory control procedures Work with finance on coordinating and execution of the internal audits Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions Processes customer returns to ensure the timely and accurate reflection of inventories and makes proper disposition of returned product while following the sustainability guidelines and policies
Warehouse Operations: Supervise warehouse staff and manage daily operations Ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods Organize the warehouse layout to maximize space and efficiency
Stock Control: Conduct regular cycle counts Address discrepancies and adjust inventory records as needed Ensure timely replenishment of stock to avoid shortage
Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with other departments to align inventory levels with demand Cross-collaborate communication with other departments cross-collaborate on inventory shortages
Loss Prevention: Develop and enforce protocols to minimize inventory loss Implement security measures to protect inventory Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies
Reporting: Generate detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement Present findings and recommendations to senior management
Training: Manages all inventory and warehouse trainings and ensures all trainings are complete in Master Control Enforces and follows 5S/Lean standards within the Inventory/Warehouse Department
Team Leadership: Hire, train, and supervise staff Create work schedules and delegate tasks Foster a positive and productive work environment
What you'll bring: A bachelor's degree in inventory management, supply chain management, business administration, or related field is required Certifications in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) by APICS is beneficial Familiarity and experience in utilizing databases Previous technical or computer experience MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software Ability to drive efficiencies and oster a culture of continuous improvement Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
