Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, with a strong focus on troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance. This role involves working with PLCs, VFDs, 3-phase systems, and 480-volt systems. Candidates should also be proficient in reading blueprints, performing teardown and repair, and following lock-out/tag-out procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on systems including PLCs, VFDs, 3-phase, and 480-volt circuits.

  • Conduct mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on hydraulics, pneumatics, combustion systems, and gas/valves.

  • Read and interpret blueprints to perform teardown and repair tasks.

  • Execute lock-out/tag-out procedures to ensure safety during maintenance activities.

  • Utilize multi-meters and other diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues.

  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure optimal performance of machinery and equipment.

  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge as needed.

Essential Skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Welding and cutting experience

  • Experience performing maintenance on overhead cranes

Work Environment

The position is based in a manufacturing shop with very tenured employees and a turnover rate of only 2%. The work schedule consists of 12-hour shifts on a 4 on, 4 off rotation, switching between 5am-5pm and 5pm-5am. Employees work 4 weekends in a row with weekdays off, followed by 4 straight weekends off. The maintenance team benefits from a collaborative environment and advanced diagnostic tools.
