We are in search of a skilled FP& A Manager/Supervisor to contribute to our team in the manufacturing sector, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. You will play a key role in company growth by partnering with business leaders to build business cases and evaluate business opportunities, conduct cost/benefit analyses, and plan for the company’s future. You will support the annual budget, monthly forecasting, and monthly reporting & analysis processes while evaluating variances to plan/forecast, and preparation of monthly business review materials. This position will also be responsible for leading special projects, typically involving financial analysis to provide leadership with financial data and act as a thought partner to support resource allocation decisions and drive corporate growth and profitability.

• Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy

• Coordinate and assist with the budget process inclusive of materials for executive leadership and Board review

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives and make updates to the forecast throughout the year

• Produce financial statement packages in accordance with monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules, including variance analysis and management reporting

• Report sales daily; analysis of variances to plan/forecast reported to management mid-month with updated projections

• Coordinate and assist with quarterly re-pricing process

• Produce quarterly compliance certificate in accordance with debt arrangement

• Ad-hoc analysis and special project support as requested

• Product Pricing experience & Treasury Experience is a plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

• Minimum of 10 years of experience with majority experience in manufacturing environment and having experience in contract manufacturing environment will be a plus

• Advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, sumif, etc.) and PowerPoint skills highly desired; Experience in Power BI ideal

• Solid understanding of financial planning and analysis functions and how they support the organization and decision making.

• Demonstrated experience in treasury and cash forecasting

• High level of competencies and understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, general finance, and budgeting

• Solid understanding of lenders monthly and quarterly certification with an eye towards continuous improvement and proactive analysis (e.g. cushion analysis)

• Ability to produce work that impacts management decisions and business results

• Develop and implement effective processes and procedures
