Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis of system specifications and decomposing them into test requirements. The engineer will also develop test software and troubleshoot PCBs, design cable harnesses, and create onboard electrical schematics for systems. Additionally, the engineer will act as the primary technical interface with the Onboard Lead and Work Package Leader throughout the project lifecycle, serving as a technical liaison with the Mechanical group.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system specifications and decompose them into test requirements.

• Develop test software and troubleshoot PCB issues.

• Design cable harnesses.

• Create onboard electrical schematics for systems.

• Act as the primary technical interface with the Onboard Lead and Work Package Leader.

• Serve as a technical liaison with the Mechanical group.

Essential Skills

• 1-3+ years of experience as a Hardware Engineer with experience in PCB/electronic schematic development.

• Experience in designing, debugging, and testing PCBs.

• Experience identifying and solving hardware issues.

• Experience creating electrical schematics for boards.

• Experience creating cable harnesses.

• Experience with the integration of cabling with mechanical racks.

• Good communication skills, the ability to work well with others, self-motivation, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Participates as a team member throughout the requirement, design, implementation, and verification phases of the project lifecycle.

Work Environment

Hybrid work environment - 2 days on-site and 3 days remote.
