Digital Operations Director - JR2420126

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: The Digital Director of Operations executes Digital initiatives aligned with the company's overall business objectives. These initiatives cover areas such as website management and migrations, e-commerce, CRM, platform optimization, and accelerator workstreams. Ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in digital operations is a core responsibility. You will optimize processes, identifying opportunities for automation, and streamlining workflows. Additional core operational responsibilities include vendor and budget management, supporting resourcing and HR initiatives, leadership and governance routines, and direct responsibility for functional support included Product Information Management (PIM), website content governance, legacy website support, and the implementation of SAFe-Agile as a technology deployment framework. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, and business unit leaders.

Key Responsibilities: Operational Activities * Responsible for enterprise level coordination of technology deployment across Digital and IT teams * Develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan and budget details for Digital initiatives. * Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects between IT and Digital * Drive cross-team collaboration and resolve cross-team impediments and other planning, collaboration, and coordination issues. * Anticipate, implement, and manage plans to address implementation obstacles and potential areas of risk. * Understand and be able to visualize and manage upstream/downstream dependencies. * Vendor management from sourcing, through contracting, performance management. Facilitation of QBRs and other routine performance management cadences to govern third-party spend. * Resource management support for Digital organization and 5 directly managed functions, including facilitation of budget requests, vendor management, SOW and invoice management. Includes staffing, capacity management, annual performance review, and other HR processes. * Budget management - responsible for the facilitation annual budget cycle, opex/capex reporting, and headcount management. Functional Activities * Responsible for the implementation of the SAFe-Agile framework as PPG's methodology of choice for managing and coordinating enterprise-level technology solutions. * Operational support including new process implementation (documentation, governance, compliance) * Execution for all SAFe-Agile ceremonies, including Program Increment (PI Planning), quarterly demos, program reporting and metrics. * Certification and ongoing training in collaboration with GCSS * Governance and reporting - facilitation of governance steercos, including roster, agenda/content, publication and adjustments to monthly work/quarterly plans impacted by decisions. * Responsible for website development, maintenance and support for current PPG corporate, EMEA, USCA and third-party agency relationships, including support for the new ppg.com ecosystem. * Responsible for establishing governance processes and execution support to ensure consistent content is optimized across PPG.com, and to facilitate the migration of existing legacy website content to the new platform. * Product Information Management and Data Asset Management tools and processes. Support for enterprise-level product data models and governance, implementation of PIM/DAM across BUs, and ensuring product data integration from ERPs through other systems, Digital end points, etc. * Responsible for workstream leadership and program management support for Digital teams and COEs.

Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in related field required and 8 years of operational management experience for a large global corporation. * Experience managing multiple teams or functions in a highly matrixed environment. * 5+ years of demonstrated experience in initiating, lead ng, and implementing complex business transformation projects / program greater than $1M in capital expenditure. * Experience in constructing useful strategies and leading the implementation. * Comprehensive understanding of how to implement large-scale global technology initiatives as well as an awareness of the unique opportunities and challenges involved in the facilitation and continuous alignment of a large development environment. * Comfortable with presenting to and facilitating discussion with executive leadership. Strong facilitation, conflict resolution. * Strategic, operational, risk, and change management skills and experience. * Secondary degree or commensurate experience required
