POSITION DETAILS
Expect your typical day as a Data Analyst in our IT Department to be focused on the following initiatives:
Analytics and Visualization: Produce insightful data visualizations for sales teams, service teams, and management. Provide technical support and expertise in data analytics tools and technologies
Data Management and Integration: Develop and maintain databases and data systems necessary for analytics. Integrate 3rd party data into corporate analytics solution(s). Define corporate standards for data stewardship
Business Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for business process improvement. Partner with internal business units to define data needs
We are interested in speaking with optimistic and self-motivated individuals who are searching for a dynamic career path in a professional setting:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, or Statistics preferred
3-4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist or similar technical role
Advanced knowledge and experience using relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and familiarity with best practices for Data Engineering
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy, clarity and detail
Inquisitive and eager to learn
Excellent customer service skills
Able to work effectively in a team environment or independently
Can communicate clearly and effectively with business end-users and business leaders
Work Environment
Punctuality, attendance, and availability are important to provide system reliability and to be available for questions/issues related to the company’s technology.
With proper approval, remote work will be available.
Hybrid work environment with traditional business hours is customary (e.g. between 8:30am and 4:45pm).
Maintenance, upgrades, application releases and other work during non-traditional business hours is required but does not occur with high frequency.
