Job Description
AECOM's Water Business Line is seeking a Civil Engineer to support the construction management team on lead service line replacements or Regionalization Team for waste water conveyance improvements investigations and capital improvement design of the same based in Pittsburgh, PA.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Evaluation of conditions of existing conveyance assets and/or evaluation of subconsultant reports of the same.
Quality control on installation as coordinated with field team using remote tools including but not limited to Field Maps, Google Earth, SharePoint, EBuilder.
GIS tracking of existing and pending construction issues and concerns.
Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests to support waste water conveyance design and construction management activities.
Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.
Identifies discrepancies in results and provides quality input for daily reports.
Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE).
GIS and CAD skills.
Capable of using spreadsheets, word processing, and standard office software.
Previous experience with Field Maps, Google Earth, SharePoint, EBuilder.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $75,000.00 - $85,000.00.
