As an Central Office Installer II, you are responsible for reading and interpreting the proper installation specifications for various construction projects. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you're up for the challenge. In addition, you will: Determine floor plan layouts, power distribution, backup power supplies, and cabling of central office equipment Identify, and requisition parts necessary to establish low- and high-level racking, transmission racking, power racking, aisle lighting, and provision for grounding Create or correct location records, drawings, bill of materials (BOM), installation notes, and memos to reflect additions and modifications to customers' location (central office) because of installation or engineering activities
Will consistently be performing iron work, mounting bays, drilling floors, sewing, running cables, and many other functions of construction as needed.

About You: Safety is a part of your day to day You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work
You have at least 1 year of experience with iron work, mounting bays, drilling floors, sewing, with a basic understanding of different stitches.
You are familiar with specifiations, blueprints, MOPs and can read them You have entry-level or 1 year of technical experience. You have a High School diploma or equivalent GED. You respond promptly to customer needs; solicit customer feedback to improve partnership Able to work independently and within a team Have a good attitude and desire to learn! You have the ability to learn customer specifications and standards You have excellent communication skills; speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listen and get clarification; demonstrate group presentation skills You have the ability to learn time management while working on customer sites. You possess dependability - Follow instructions, respond to management direction; keep commitments Experience in handling power tools Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 lbs. Must be willing and available to travel away from home for several weeks at a time (up to 25%) Candidate will be working primarily in a central office which is a structure used by telecommunications companies to house equipment needed to direct and process telephone calls and data traffic. Telephone Central Offices (CO's) are also known as telephone switching centers, wire centers or telephone exchanges Ability to work night shift: 10pm - 8am Hard work pays off.
