Assistant Director of Financial Operations
Serves as trusted advisor to senior leadership and utilizes financial planning, resource oversight, and budget maintenance to meet present and future University programmatic needs. Oversees capital projects and facility management. Assists with annual budget. Oversees research planning and administration, including research funding, compliance, and shared research support services. Directs post-award functions and operations for university grants and contracts. Formulates, implements, and improves standard policies and operating procedures; ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations. Assists to prepare and submit annual budget. Supports department operations and budget planning via informed recommendations. Analyzes spending and provides quarterly and annual reports.

Hiring Range: $78,501.00 - $104,667.00

Excellent analytical and communications skills as well as multi-tasking throughout the workday.
Physical Effort
Position is generally sedentary, but sometimes physically uncomfortable; frequently requires maintaining a sitting posture, stooping, or bending, some very light lifting, such as one or two reams of paper, may be required. Also walking around campus and the Oakland area.
