An organization in the South Side area is in need of a temporary to hire Administrative/Accounts Payable Specialist.

The position is temporary to hire and 100% onsite.

The Administrative/Accounts Payable Specialist would be responsible for the following duties:

• Prepare and perform check runs, ACH payments and wire transfers to suppliers

• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and resolve any discrepancies with vendors

• Perform general administrative tasks such as handling phone calls, responding to emails, filing, photocopying, etc.

• Maintain and update vendor files, product/service details, and internal databases

• Assist in other accounting projects, as needed

• Process invoices, record payments, and track expenses of the organization

Requirements

• Experience can trump a degree

• Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role

• Excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and any accounting software

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Professional written and verbal communication skills
