UPMC Account Coordinator in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

UPMC Health Plan and Workpartners is hiring a full-time Account Coordinator. This role will work in a hybrid structure, with occasional in-office time at US Steel in downtown Pittsburgh, as needed.

The Account Coordinator is responsible for supporting the account management team with daily tasks. Additionally, through partnerships with internal sales, service, operations, and data teams, ensuring the continued success of our clients and programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates activities including onboarding of all new insureds and clients.

  • Educates and assists new clients/contacts with processes and general questions and requests.

  • Builds credibility and creates relationships with internal and external customers.

  • Updates client profiles with supporting information as well as internal assignments.

  • Processes client access to internal platforms.

  • Documents false data and communicates with internal teams to ensure a quality product.

  • Runs and distributes associated reports as needed/scheduled.

  • Assists in testing technology following development for quality assurance.

  • Collaborates and assists account management and internal teams with account questions.

  • A degree from an accredited university or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred

  • 1+ plus years of experience in a client facing role required. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Act 34
