Academic Project Analyst
The Department of Medicine is seeking an Academic Project Analyst to support the Senior Director of Academic Operations in key areas of finance including budgets and academic seed. This position will analyze complex financial data for proposals and strategic initiatives. The position will monitor operating revenue and expenses to budget. The position will be responsible for evaluating and assessing drivers of budget variances and working with department to develop appropriate reporting and dashboarding to measure academic finances and metrics. This individual must be prepared to lead academic projects, presentations, and data analysis projects.
Job Summary
Supports business operations by analyzing moderately complex requirements. Assesses current practices, collects information, and analyzes industry trends to determine organizational objectives. Designs new projects/programs and makes recommendations to improve systems. Prepares technical reports, analyzes data, and creates visualizations.

Identifies business opportunities. * Assists with project management for selected projects. Tests business processes and recommend improvements. * Writes clear and well-structured business requirements/documents. * Creates reports, dashboards, and visualizations to understand business performance. Develops and maintains reporting tools. * Performs data discovery, moderately complex analysis, and modeling. Physical Effort
Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time while using a computer.
