Dignity Health Radiologic Technologist in Pismo Beach, California

Dignity Health’s Pacific Central Coast Health Centers (PHC) is a non-profit Community clinic organization comprised of more than 40 health centers located primarily from Ventura to Templeton spanning the coast. Responsibilities

Position Summary:

In keeping with the Marian Medical Center health care philosophy the Radiologic Technologist I performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assume responsibility for specific radiographic procedures as required. Performs Medical Assistant duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • One year experience as a certified Radiologic Technologist.

  • New graduates with clinical experience through approved ARRT Radiologic Technology program will be considered on an individual basis.

  • Must have working knowledge of diagnostic imaging equipment.

  • Must also know departmental policies and procedures.

  • Ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members physicians and the patient population.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

  • Self motivated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • If employee is hired due to an acquisition of site must complete MA program within one year of employment with PCCHC.

Requires limited license CRT.

Pay Range

$38.81 - $56.28 /hour
