SHI Operations Manager - Warehouse in Piscataway, New Jersey
Job Summary
TheWarehouse Operations Manageroversees agroupofTeamManagers, Supervisors and Warehouse Associates by serving as a point of escalation and overseeing the team’s daily operations. The manager will act as a liaison betweentheSales and the Warehouse departmentsby delegating work to appropriate staff based ontheneeds ofour customers.This position reports directlytothe Sr. Warehouse Manager.
This position isrequiredto report to theSHI Piscataway NJoffice location asdeterminedby SHI management.

Responsibilities
Includes but not limited to:
Manage the receiving process for theDate Center Factory (DCF)
Manage the put-away process for inventoryatthe DCF
Manage small parcel receiving (FedEx/UPS/DHL) and LTL receiving (Freight)at the DCF
Manage scheduling LTL Deliveriesat the DCF
Manage the order printing process and delegation of workloadatthe DCF
Manage the picking process for theDCFto ensure orders are pickedin a timely mannerand staged correctly
Delegate dailyshipping-relatedrequests/tasks to team membersat the DCF
Manage the processes of the shipping and picking departments on the weekend by ensuring systems and tools are up to date and the workload is being delegated appropriately
Utilize company reports todetermineworkload scheduling and to evaluate employee performance
Enforce policy and procedure with staff and follow up with disciplinary action whenrequired
Act as a liaison betweentheteam and senior management, providing updates on progress to ensure that all picking and shipping-related tasks are prioritized
Complete employee performance evaluations, address personnel issues and manage shifts
Conduct research todeterminethe root cause of any item discrepancies,such as lost or missing products
Assist Senior Leadership in interviewing, hiring decisions, and employee terminations
Inventory replenishment for floor order picking
Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum3-5years’ Warehouse experience
Minimum2-4years Leadership experience
Must be able to communicate (verbal/written) in English
Required Skills
Ability to operate a computer and navigate in a Windows based platform
Strong understanding of SHI Integration Center Processes, Policies, and Procedures
Management/leadership skills
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in afast paceenvironment while meeting all deadlines
Ability to assist in hiring decisions and pick quality candidates
Ability to recognize workflow issues
Ability to manage small and large groups
Ability to take direction and follow instructions
Ability to be detailed oriented
Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and efficiency

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX
Hazmat certified
Unique Requirements
Overtime and weekend work are available, and may berequiredthroughout the year
This position is expected tofrequentlybend, lift, walk and stand for extended periods of time
Position requires the ability to move orlift upto 50lbs
Additional Information
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $50,000 - $100,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and marketlocation and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
