EMSL is seeking a Laboratory Technician (Asbestos) in Piscataway, NJ. The technician supports the laboratory analysts by preparing samples for analysis. No laboratory experience is required, just a desire to learn technical skills and become proficient in common laboratory practices and procedures. On-the-job training will be provided for all new employees. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Preparation of environmental samples prior to analysis for Air Sample Prep, Bulk Sample Prep, Gravimetric Prep, TEM Prep, and NOB Prep- any areas of prep related to client workGood lab practices and able to handle a fast-paced, high volume work environment Assist with laboratory calibrations and maintenance of equipment.
