Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in setting up, programming, editing, and running Haas CNC milling centers. Proficiency in blueprint reading and computer skills is required. The candidate must also have experience with editing G&M codes.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, edit, and run Haas CNC milling centers.

• Read and interpret blueprints.

• Edit G&M codes.

• Change tooling as required.

• Use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

• Operate CNC machines with precision.

Essential Skills

• Experience with CNC machine setup and operation (5 years).

• Proficiency in programming CNC machines.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Experience with editing G&M codes.

• Skills in using calipers and micrometers.

• Familiarity with Fanuc controls.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a machine shop.

• Experience using measuring tools like gauges.

• Experience using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) is a plus.

• Must be a US citizen or a US resident due to ITAR regulations.

The work environment is a very clean and bright machine shop with multiple jobs being run daily.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mountainside, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00
