Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Pisa

OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

  • Execution of corrective and preventive Maintenance activities for GmP/non-GmP equipment /systems of Pisa site

  • Perform maintenance activities, accordingly to EHS and GMP rules, in order to maintain Pisa Site equipment/system in perfect condition

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Execution of corrective and preventive Maintenance activities for GmP/non-GmP equipment /systems of Pisa site

  • Perform maintenance activities, accordingly to EHS and GMP rules, in order to maintain Pisa Site equipment/system in perfect condition

  • Document maintenance activities accordingly to Site Regulations

  • Ensure good communication with colleagues, from other functions or internal function, for reporting on technical issues

  • Guarantee correct reporting in order to making correct time delivery of spare parts for equipment and system on Pisa Site

  • Drives the forklift to move necessary materials in the plant

  • Guarantee correct reporting and interface with supplier for trouble shooting and maintenance services organization

  • Carry out maintenance of the workshop environments and tools

  • Responsible for maintaining documentation correctly archived

DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS

Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise

  • Executes corrective and emergency interventions with a systematic approach of problem solving

  • Provides and ensure support for critical spare parts analysis and preventive maintenance plan of new installation equipment and systems, collaborating with plant engineering and reliability engineering

  • Ensures adherence to GMP’s and standard operative procedures

  • Ensures full compliance with all company policies, EHS rules and authority regulations

  • Manifests his previous experience in industrial maintenance

Leadership

  • Spirit of collaboration and ability to adapt proposing alternative and/or innovative solutions

  • Seeks and acquires feedback from other people to strengthen their skills and behavior to increase his contribution to the business

Decision-making and Autonomy

  • Shares and evaluates critical choice / decision with the Maintenance Supervisor

Interaction

  • Internal interaction required with Maintenance team for problem solving

  • maintain contact with all the functions of the plant

Innovation

  • In the area of his experience he contributes to the identification of any improvements to systems and / or their management;

Complexity

  • Complexities related to the knowledge of Chemical / Pharmaceutical plants

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • High school certification in technical discipline (preferred electrical, electronic, automation diploma);

  • At least 2 years of previous experience in this role or equivalent within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industry, is a plus

  • Able to read electrical diagrams, PLC basic knowledge, PES/PEI;

  • Analytical skills with systematic approaches to problem solving;

  • Familiar with Quality Management and GxP Regulations

  • English basic knowledge is a plus;
