Key Deliverables:

1) Provide world class sales and service to all customer inquiries and support closing deals with timely responses.

2) Understand product line and quote prices, credit terms and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained.

3) Interact regularly with the Account Manager(s) and assist with order management and forecasting for SPS accounts.

4) Deliver excellent customer service by providing timely responses to customer inquiries and providing technical assistance to assure appropriate product selection for a given application.

5) To assist customers with general technical inquiries. 

6) Coordinate with production, purchasing, and shipping to expedite product or services to meet customer needs.

7) Coordinate customer requirements with shipping and prepare export documentation when required.

8) Resolve customer complaints regarding billing or service rendered and refer service complaints to appropriate individuals for investigation.

9) Respond to lead inquiries and complete follow up tasks 

10) Develop weekly and end of month reports outlining sales activity of the team

 

Key Responsibilities

1) The Customer Service Representative is responsible for sales, customer service, clerical and office management functions. 

2) Communication with customers by phone, email or in person to receive orders and manage and prioritize customer needs.

3) Purchase Order review and order entry. 

4) Estimate dates of delivery to customers, prepare invoices, return material authorization and other documents as required. 

5) Address complaints concerning billing or service rendered, gather and read digital or paper records such as purchase orders, sales tickets and charge slips to compile data. 

Requirements

Education/Experience

Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school desired, or a minimum of one to three years of related experience and/or training.

 

Technical Competencies

1) Excellent written and verbal communication skills

2) Financial Understanding (Pricing, Margins, Costing)

3) Experience with Salesforce 

4) Experience with Invoicing

5) Understanding of Inventory Control

6) Basic computer skills; (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.).

7) Data Entry Skills

8) Basic Mathematical Skills
