As an IS Specialist you will manage the hardware and much of the software needs of your local branch and customer base. Your internal customers are a diverse mix of technical and non-technical individuals so you will develop your skills communicating with both areas. Your skills in developing tools and technical solutions will assist improve the branch's processes and productivity and you will have ownership of the purchase, inventory and set up of new systems and devices and will ensure that the network operates at consistently and efficiently. You are an integral member of the team that ensures the effective management of technology, systems and keeps us operating efficiently.

We mainly hire on attitude and we train on skills. We still require you to demonstrate the below core competencies when applying

• Previous experience in an IS related field, troubleshooting hardware and Windows as a plus

• Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills

• Solid oral and written communication skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 

• Oral and written proficiency in the Italian and English language

• Effective interpersonal skills - including the ability to listen, comprehend and to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical

• Must have the ability to work independently and in an international team environment.

• Candidate should have a work permit to work in EU countries 

• Willing to travel across Italy if required (Turin, Bologna, Verona, Firenze, Roma Fiumicino and Napoli)

Key Responsibilities

• Hardware Management: You will continuously manage the operational effectiveness of the branch's hardware, taking control of inventory, end of life, ordering, set up and retiring of all hardware.

• Software: You will have responsibility for troubleshooting software issues, roll out of new software solutions, the backup and storage of data and its security and the effective use of technical solutions that support operational performance
