L3Harris Senior Supply Chain Storeperson 1 1 in Pinkenba, Australia

About the opportunity:

Located in Pinkenba, the L3Harris Sustainment Centre (ISC) is a multi-faceted maintenance support entity that provides the L3Harris Defence Australia programs with integrated logistics support. Within this facility, as a member of the In-Service Support (ISS) team, this role is responsible for providing logistics support to a multitude of L3 Harris projects, standing offers and services associated with the freight and distribution of L3 Harris communications equipment and ancillaries. This role will provide direct support to ISC Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities of the role include the following:

  • Works autonomously and may be required to provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees

  • Operate and maintain multiple ERP systems (e.g., MILIS, Oracle, and SAP) in accordance with procedures.

  • Monitor of receipts, issues and stock movements within the warehouse, external suppliers and other L3Harris segments.

  • Assist with the management of receipt and issue activities for External Purchase Order (EPO).

  • Assist Program Support with the processing of customer orders.

  • Act as customer liaison between the CoA and L3Harris for all inventory held within the ISC warehouse.

  • Undertake records management in accordance with Commonwealth of Australian (CoA) and HCA policy.

  • Assist with internal Supply Chain KPI reviews with the ISS Performance Team.

  • Provide input into the review of processes and procedures within Inventory Control.

    Skills and Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the fundamentals for supply chain management

  • Understanding of Defence warehousing and Supply chain processes and systems, Military Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS) qualifications for warehousing, stocktaking and Disposals or SAP

  • Proficient in MS Office suite
