Position Title: Boys Freshman Basketball Coach
Pinconning High School is seeking a motivated and passionate individual for the position of Boys Freshmen Basketball Coach. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching and developing the skills of our freshman basketball players, creating a positive and supportive team environment, and instilling in our athletes a love for the game and a commitment to sportsmanship.
Responsibilities: - Develop and implement practice plans that focus on skill development, teamwork, and strategy. - Teach fundamental basketball skills - Plan and coordinate game strategies. - Evaluate and provide feedback to players on their performance. - Foster a positive and inclusive team culture. - Emphasize the importance of sportsmanship and fair play. - Collaborate with the coaching staff and athletic director to ensure compliance with school policies and regulations. - Attend team meetings, staff development sessions, and other related school events as required.
Requirements: - Previous coaching experience, preferably at the high school level. - Thorough knowledge of the rules, techniques, and strategies of the game. - Strong communication and leadership skills. - Ability to motivate and inspire athletes. - Commitment to promoting a positive team culture. - Valid coaching certification or willingness to obtain on
