Ohio Valley Veneer Network Installation Technician in Piketon, Ohio
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Cable Installer to join our team to work in a managed service provider environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems, including data, voice, and video systems. This role requires a high level of cable expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Install low voltage cables and associated hardware, including Cat6, fiber optic cables, and coaxial cables.
· Rack and stack network equipment
· Ensure all installations meet industry standards and client specifications.
· Diagnose and resolve issues related to low voltage systems and cables.
· Perform routine maintenance and inspections of installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
· Plan and execute installation projects according to schedule and within budget.
· Coordinate with other team members, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project completion.
· Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during installations and maintenance tasks.
· Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
· Preferred 2 years of experience in low voltage cable installation and maintenance.
· Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to low voltage cable installation.
· Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for low voltage systems.
· Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
· Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
· Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods.
· Ability to travel to Kentucky, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Tennessee
