8:00am -- 4:30pm
Some Nights and Weekends
Scheurer Health, a critical access rural hospital, is seeking a full-time Health & Wellness Advocate in the Community Wellness Department.
Responsibilities:
- Inspire the community to develop healthier lifestyle habits
- Support the community through prevention, education, awareness based on community needs and wellness trends.
- Coordinating and instructing community programs, fitness programs, support groups, CPR, and first aid programs
- great customer service and be able to interact with all age groups
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in health, communication or related field or currently working on with a completion date of one year upon hire
- Candidate must be a certified instructor by The American Heart Association to teach CPR/First Aid or certification must be obtained within one year of hire date
- This position includes some evening and weekend hours.
