Medical Assistant positions (1 Full-Time & 1 Part-Time) Under the direction of a licensed medical provider, the Medical Assistant assists in the examination and treatment of patients. Rooms patients and performs patient interviews. Prepares patients for provider's care: taking vital signs and measures height and weight, patient intake on electronic medical records (reviewing current list of medications and updating as necessary, etc.) Assists with tests and procedures (EKGs, bone densities, minor procedures, etc.) running small lab tests (urinalysis, stc.) answering patient phone calls, electronic computer messaging, keeping patient rooms tidy and stocked.
