Senior Program Manager - Cloud Operations + Innovation
The Senior Program Manager - Cloud Operations + Innovation is responsible for driving risk data integration and transparency of project schedule risk data across CO+I teams to foster a risk-aware culture. This role is crucial for the standardization, consolidation, transparency, and data quality of CO+I organizational schedule risk data.
Responsibilities
Collaborate and partner across the CO+I organization to identify risk data repositories
Identify and advocate for minimum standards for robust risk data across teams managing risk data
Prioritize and integrate select risk data into the Integrated Risk Register (IRR) tool, Dynamics platform, coordinating with key Capacity Delivery Risk Management (CDRM) team members to prepare teams for tool integration
Identify and lead opportunities to integrate risk data into other platforms used for project management within and across the broader organization
Conduct training and office hours on the IRR tool and support new teams to train and onboard to the IRR tool
In collaboration with key CDRM team members, request new business requirements for IRR to enable risk data integration, delivering business requirement documentation to engineering for risk data integration events
Develop and implement organizational transparency of lessons learned from project risks to create early transparency of risks for new projects
Monitor and report on risk management Objectives and Key Results
Manage the global data quality program, run data quality analysis and reports on data quality and provide oversight of the data quality dashboard, working with regional risk managers to meet data quality targets and improve risk data quality as needed
Prepare global and regional risk data reports
Compose and deliver risk management communications and leadership presentations
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
OR equivalent experience.
2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
OR equivalent experience.
6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
Risk management data program experience
Detailed understanding of global datacenter network designs, operations, and engineering
Local to Redmond
Other Requirements
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
