The Senior Enterprise Data Governance Professional implements and operates the company's data governance program and applies seasoned knowledge to ensure data quality. The Senior Enterprise Data Governance Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The Senior Enterprise Data Governance Professional the position is responsible for data oversight, data usage, system analysis and data retention to assure data quality standards. This position collaborates with other departments to ensure data consistency and quality throughout the organization. This position contributes to development of data governance and data standards policies. The position maintains documentation on data governance, compiles reports on metrics and conducts benchmarking to identify trends and patterns. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed with minimal direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Governance with a foundational knowledge and skillset in data analytics

  • 3 or more years of experience leading a team

  • Experience in the development of interactive reports using Power BI, Qlik, Tableau and/or similar product

  • Critical thinker who can anticipate team needs and take initiative to present ideas, ask the right questions and deliver the highest quality work

  • Self-starter that can work independently with minimal direction and takes ownership and anticipates future consequences and trends accurately

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to non-technical professionals

  • Proven experience with consulting with and building relationships with business partners

  • Excellent verbal and written communications with all levels including senior and executive leadership.

  • Execution-driven mindset with an openness to collaborate and present material to internal leadership teams

  • Ability to interpret findings and proactively identify process/strategy improvement opportunities

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Humana's internal policies, procedures, and systems

  • Prior experience with Data Automation

  • Experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction

  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone and computer equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$95,300 - $131,200 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
