Robert Half Revenue Cycle Manager in Phoenix, Arizona
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Revenue Cycle Manager in Phoenix, Arizona. As a key member of our team, your primary focus will be on managing all facets of the revenue cycle process, optimizing system utilization, ensuring regulatory compliance, leading a team, and interacting with various internal teams to achieve revenue cycle goals.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the comprehensive revenue cycle process, including patient registration, charge capture, coding, billing, payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up, and collections.
• Identify trends and implement improvements by monitoring and analyzing revenue cycle metrics.
• Utilize NextGen system to enhance billing and revenue cycle operations, and resolve any issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Train staff on the functionalities of NextGen.
• Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and payer regulations, including HIPAA.
• Carry out audits and reviews to identify discrepancies and prevent revenue leakage.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of billing, coding, and collections professionals.
• Develop and put into action training programs to keep the team updated on industry changes and best practices.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and manage the revenue cycle budget.
• Generate detailed reports on revenue performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Work closely with clinical, administrative, and financial teams to ensure alignment on revenue cycle goals and initiatives.
• Act as a liaison to resolve claim issues and improve payer relations. Requirements
• Familiarity and experience with accounting software systems.
• Demonstrated ability to handle accounting functions effectively.
• Proficient in managing accounts receivable (AR).
• Strong background in auditing practices and procedures.
• Capability to oversee and manage billing functions.
• Knowledge and experience in budget processes.
• Demonstrated understanding of revenue cycle processes.
• Proficiency in using NextGen software.
