Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIALIST T32, Position Description Number PDD1167000 and is part of the AZ JFHQ ARMY, National Guard. Responsibilities This position is located at Joint Force Headquarters-State Public Affairs Office in Phoenix, Arizona. The primary purpose of the position is to collect, assemble, prepare and disseminate information concerning the various activities of the state's NG. THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: Army Enlisted: E2/PV2 - E6/SSG Army Officer: O1/2LT - O3/CAPT or Air Enlisted: E2/Amn - E6/TSgt Air Officer: O1/2Lt - O3/Capt Compatible Military Assignments: Army Enlisted: Must have or be able to obtain a 46 Series MOS Army Officer: Must have or be able to obtain a 46 Series Functional Area or Air: Must have or be able to obtain a 3N0X6 AFSC SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1 year equivalent to at least GS-7 experience, education, or training involving knowledge of writing, communication principles, methods and techniques that relate to the public affairs of an agency. Experience in applying and adapting knowledge of strictly controlled situations of an agency. Experience writing articles on routine events of non-controversial subjects. Experience responding timely and appropriately to requests for information concerning agency programs and services. Experience participating in meetings with specialized groups to listen to and understand feedback on agency programs that are of particular interest to public. Education You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
