Honeywell Principal IT Business Partner in Phoenix, Arizona

As an IT Business Partner for Aerospace Technologies here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving the IT strategy and solutions. You will collaborate with business leaders to understand their technology needs and align IT initiatives with their goals.

Your expertise in IT and strong business acumen will enable you to drive digital transformation and deliver innovative solutions to support our supply chain operations.

You will act as a key strategic partner in Supply Chain Planning team to implement strategic solutions to support Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Material Planning, SIOP & proficient with strategies to implement Rate Based Planning, Lights Out planning, Advanced planning process and systems in Supply Chain.

You will report to our IT Director based in an Aerospace Hub Location and will work on a hybrid (3/2) work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the success of our business unit by:

  • Partnering with business leaders to understand their technology needs and develop IT strategies to support their goals.

  • Driving digital transformation initiatives and leveraging emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative IT solutions that meet business requirements.

  • Ensuring IT system security and data integrity to protect sensitive information.

  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to support business operations and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to understand their strategic goals, and identify opportunities for IT enablement

  • Be a champion for the business, enabling them in their needs with innovative solutions while adhering to the IT Standards and practices.

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to support business operations and drive continuous improvement.

  • Deliver innovative IT solutions that align with architecture, security, and other compliance standards to meet the business requirements.

  • Facilitate escalations from Business customers for IT projects, Rapid Deliveries, or IT incident tickets.

  • Work with business subject matter experts, IT delivery team to a flawless execution of the project.

  • Track and report on IT project portfolio status and metrics to leadership.

  • Ensure that the solutions delivered can be Scaled, Supported, and meet the Global Design Model Standards.

  • Establish strong relationship with IT Service Owners, Service Category owners, Enterprise Architects & Enterprise Tower to ensure full alignment of the solutions proposed and deployed.

  • Identify potential risks with platforms and tools partnering with service owners to define mitigations and solutions including remediation for tech debt.

  • Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with project sponsors, Business customers, stakeholders, IT and suppliers.

  • Responsible for timely communication with Business customers and functional leaders on status updates and ensuring ownership of deliverables.

  • Lead Strategy, Roadmap and AOP activities.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field

  • 10+ years of experience in leadership roles, with a focus on business partnership and driving digital transformation.

WE VALUE

  • Experience in any of the Supply Chain Planning Systems like SAP APO, Kinaxis Rapid Response, Servigistics, Blue Yonder.

  • Proven experience in leading and managing different planning strategies like Rate Based, Lights Out Planning initiatives.

  • Strong understanding on SIOP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning & Material Planning.

  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP Systems or MES Systems.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to align IT initiatives with business goals.

  • Master’s degree in business administration or related field.

  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems architecture, and automation tools.

  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.

  • Ability to analyze complex data and make strategic decisions.

  • Proven track record of delivering innovative IT solutions.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
