About the role and about you:

This position is for Pilot in Command (PIC) of a Pilatus PC-12 based out of Phoenix, AZ and requires a strong ability to multi-task, making high level complex decisions while completing a variety of aviation related tasks. The flying for this position will support the Advanced Air Essential Air Service communities and on-demand charter.

The main Objective is to provide Advanced Air travelers a world class experience in a fleet of Pilatus PC-12. While holding up to the standards of Advanced Air, LLC flight operations, interacting with all charter customers, aircraft owners, and airline passenger travelers.

What you will do:

  • Retain the final authority for the safe operation of the aircraft (FAR 91.3)
  • Maintain responsibility for the security of the aircraft during its operation
  • Ensure that the assigned aircraft is airworthy by completing a preflight inspection per the AFM and verifying that all required documents are on board the aircraft
  • Review all flight briefs regarding the purpose of the flight, weather, operating procedures, notes and any special instructions plans and flight assignments
  • Comply with all Federal Aviation regulations, company operations manual, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies and procedures
  • Update flight and duty records determine eligibility for the next flight assignment and ensure any aircraft maintenance discrepancies are reported and in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures
  • Participate proactively in safety and quality systems by identifying, reporting and mitigating hazards and quality issues; providing timely input to management and applying systems processes to address quality and safety issues
