Summary

South Phoenix Oil & Gas Company searching for a Mechanical Assembly Technician. The Mechanical Assembly Technician will study work assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists and assist in assembling parts and subassemblies per print and schematic layouts.

Required Skills:

• Ability to read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions/procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Basic knowledge of hand and measurement tools

• Ability to follow shop related safety protocol, policies, and procedures

• Basic computer navigation and utilization skills

• Excellent team player and ability to communicate verbally

• Must be able to stand, bend, walk, crouch, crawl, or stoop and lift 50 pounds, unassisted

Preferred Skills:

• Automotive, Electrical, or Aerospace mechanical experience

• Use of forklift, slings, etc.

Education:

• High School diploma, Associate degree, or Vocational School Certificate preferred

• Valid driver's license
