Honeywell Machinist - Level 4 (FAA) - 2nd Shift in Phoenix, Arizona

Produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will assemble and inspect product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production and quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Receive little to no instruction on routine tasks/general instructions on new assignments
Demonstrate expert level knowledge of machining specifically aligning to Mills/Lathes/Grinders with ability to train others
Demonstrate Expert understanding of the Honeywell Operating System concepts and ability to teach others specifically
* HOS Support for 5S * Observe all safety policies * Participate with continuous improvement * Follow NUCAP, NADCAP requirements * Communication skills: Frequent interaction with others from inside work area and others outside work areaAbility to expertly read, interpret, and train others on how to read blueprints and machining programs
Ability to read and train others on geometric tolerance and measuring tools/equipment.
Regularly interface with engineers to troubleshoot issues
Demonstrate ability to learn multiple disciplines

YOU MUST HAVE
High School Diploma
Minimum of 5 years machining experience consisting of working with Mills/Lathes/Grinders, reading and interpreting blueprints, and measuring tools/equipment
Minimum of 5 years of experience and proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning & Technology
