Aerotek Low Voltage Technician in Phoenix, Arizona

Fiber technicians needed in Goodyear, AZ area $21-23.10HR - Weekly pay!

A growing electrical company is looking for experienced fiber technicians in the Goodyear, AZ area. Fiber technicians will be working on data centers around the Goodyear, AZ area. Job description:

  • Pulling Cable: Install and route cables through various pathways.

  • Assisting Tech 2: Support a more experienced technician with tasks.

  • Running and Handling Materials: Manage and organize necessary materials for installations.

  • Utilizing Hand/Power Tools: Use tools to install and secure cables.

  • Climbing Ladders: Work at heights to install cables.

  • Operating a Scissor Lift: Use lifts to reach higher areas safely.

  • Working at Heights: Comfortable with tasks that require being off the ground.

  • Data Center Work: Install and maintain cables in data centers.

  • Testing Fiber: Ensure fiber optic cables are properly installed and functioning.

Skills Desired

  • Strong ability to pull cable through pathways, terminate, and test copper cables (Cat 5, Cat 6)

  • Experience pulling fiber

  • Comfortable with heights

Shift:

  • work schedule is 5:00am – 5:00pm M-F

  • 2nd shift is 5pm- 5am Mon - Fri (10% shift differential)

  • The onsite orientation is conducted M-F at 6am for this site. 2 hours long, includes a mouth swab drug test

Work Environment:

  • Will be working at Stream Data Center Goodyear, AZ.

  • Hot work environment, NO AC yet.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.10
