Honeywell Lead IT Architect in Phoenix, Arizona

Lead IT Architect for Honeywell International, Inc. (Phoenix, AZ)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•SAP application development, maintenance, and Functional testing.

•Partner with project delivery teams to ensure adherence to common process and definition of new processes.

•Collaborate with cross functional teams in fixing operational /support issues.

•Own solution design, integrations, and configurations.

•Conduct incident management & root cause analysis, working closely with IT teams to resolve technical issues and improve system reliability.

•Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively identify and resolve potential problems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal user experience.

•Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

-40 hours/week

YOU MUST HAVE:

Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s* degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, and 8 years of experience in IT. Full term of experience must include: proficiency in IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and tools, such as ServiceNow & JIRA; and in-depth knowledge in Project Management. Must have 5 years of experience in the following: team leading and managing large/complex deployments; experience interacting with customers and business users to understand requirements; involvement in requirement gathering process and converting them into User Stories; Participation and Coordination with Development teams to ensure the correct creation and deployment of User Stories on PROD environment; experience scheduling, planning, and controlling the software's development and delivery process; experience handling the DevOps team to make them deliver the services on time; experience ensuring that Changes and Releases in PROD environment follow the ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) guidelines; Creation and Management of CCB (Change Control Board) and RAB (Release Advisory Board); experience managing both IT operations and developers; experience managing contract IT personnel, Change management ticket and Service Now; Support of applications (High & Critical Issues); experience with Incident and Problem Management in PROD environment with ITIL guidelines; experience creating process for day-to-day monitoring of Server, Application and Database. Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week. *Employer will accept 2 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
