We are seeking a Digital and Analog Electrical Design Lead to join our engineering team in Phoenix, creating the electronics that Aerospace runs on. You will play a critical role in defining and implementing processor-based computing systems for Aerospace applications, ensuring compliance with industry, customer and Honeywell standards. You will own electronic hardware development assignments, including design trades, setting and negotiating requirements, end to end documentation, scheduling, electrical design and analysis, build and verification. You will actively collaborate with cross-functional teams as you navigate the product development process. Electrical designs that you may lead include microprocessors, controllers, DSPs, memory subsystems, aircraft communication interfaces, switching/linear power supplies, sensor interfaces, data acquisition systems, etc.

YOU MUST HAVE

-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

-Minimum 10 years electrical hardware engineering experience

WE VALUE

-Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

-Experience performing electronics hardware LRU and PBA level detailed design and verification activities

-Experience leading cross-functional teams through the electronics development process

-Experiencing developing worst case analyses, demonstrating compliance with performance requirements

-Experience ensuring designs meet industry standards, including DO254, RTCA DO-160, Boeing D6, Airbus ABD, MIL-STD 461, MIL STD-810, etc.

-Proficiency with DxDesigner, Expedition, Hyperlynx, Mathcad, and LTSpice

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

-Strong team working skills with a proven ability to effectively interact and collaborate with other engineering disciplines with excellent attention to detail

-Ability to teach, coach and influence teams to achieve challenging objectives
