ARAMARK In2Work Coordinator - AZ Department of Corrections in Phoenix, Arizona

Job Description

The Project Management Specialist is responsible for leading the implementation of IN2WORK program across the AZ Department of Corrections, introducing the program rollout and expansion plan, teaching and training Aramark account leadership on how to instruct the I2W program, ensuring that each is a certified instructor/proctor. This position will also manage and maintain the daily and weekly schedule of the program at assigned locations, track and report program progress to I2W support team, serve as a resource for the I2W Community/Reentry coordinator, assisting graduates of the program by providing support for scholarship and employment opportunities pre & post release and providing support for food & retail programming, and/or commissary and warehousing operations at the component level.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement the I2W Program at all AZ Department of Corrections locations.

  • Successfully meet the program KPI?s.

  • Partner with client teams to recruit, schedule and retain students in the program.

  • Resource for the instructors that facilitate the program I2W as designed for each location.

  • Train Aramark operations teams on implementing and continuing the program.

  • Partner with I2W support team to remain current on progression of the I2W program, attend monthly meetings.

  • Maintain database of I2W graduates all locations.

  • Track I2W graduates who are released and have interviewed/offered jobs with Aramark and community partners.

  • Support and work with community groups to educate them on IN2WORK to help graduates find employment opportunities upon release.

  • Facilitate on-the-job training through food service and retail operations.

  • Support daily operations, pending account type ? Food Service or in the Commissary/Warehouse.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills, a self-starter, confident in his/her abilities, self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to effectively manage people and drive results without formal influence.

  • Committed, results-driven leader who can make an impact; takes initiative, makes things happen, accepts accountability, and has a ?can do? attitude; sense of urgency when needed.

  • Strong communication skills: oral and written, plus the ability to communicate appropriately with a wide range of people and behavior styles.

  • Show sound judgment when working with confidential employee, client and Aramark information.

  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new situations, anticipate needs and plan ahead.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a team setting.

  • Well-honed ability to multi-task and prioritize; lead varied teams and manage high volume of workflow.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead without formal authority and build influence through logical and convincing decision-making.

  • Process oriented, with an exceptional eye for detail; diligent and sensitive to tight deadlines

  • Proven track record of developing and successfully managing initiatives and strategies.

  • Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding performance goals.

  • Proven proficiency with the following computer applications: Word, Excel, Adobe and PowerPoint; Smartsheet, a plus.
