Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Assists to coordinate the use of Image Guidance by retrieving MRI/CT scans setting up navigation system and making adjustments prior to and during the surgical procedure. Monitors and reports issues with navigation equipment or processes.
Daily Operations:
Maintains navigation instrumentation and equipment, calibrating same equipment as needed.
Retrieves appropriate scans as needed.
Assumes responsibility for accurate records and results.
Assists throughout the surgical procedure by making equipment adjustments as directed by the physician.
Responsible for room set up and equipment break down.
Participates in continuing education and meeting attendance as needed.
Ensures that images are transferred from PACs system to Navigation system.
Ensures that images are appropriate for the scheduled surgical procedure.

Qualifications
Minimum:
Experience:
One year recent clinical or Operating Room experience
Experience working with Image Guidance Systems preferred
Education:
GED or High School diploma
Special Skills:
Strong computer skills
Basic trouble-shooting skills
Surgical or system related training preferred
Pay Range
$19.73 - $27.13 /hour
