Description
We are inviting applications for the role of a Litigation Associate Attorney (1-3 and 4+ years) based in Phoenix, Arizona. The role will be part of our client's law firm legal team; they are a National firm with a newer office in Phoenix near the Biltmore, handling various responsibilities including insurance defense, construction defect, and general liability cases. This role offers an exciting opportunity for those seeking to make a significant contribution in a dynamic environment. This is hybrid role with 2-3 days a week in-office.
Responsibilities:
• Handle a variety of insurance defense cases, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all legal proceedings.
• Work on construction defect cases, effectively interpreting laws and regulations related to construction projects.
• Manage general liability cases, providing expert legal advice and representation as needed.
• Train and mentor junior legal staff, fostering a supportive and educational environment.
• Utilize case management software to track, manage, and update all ongoing cases.
• Produce and review legal documents such as briefs, leveraging Adobe Acrobat and other relevant tools.
• Administer claims and handle complaints, maintaining professionalism and integrity in all customer interactions.
• Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement effective legal strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of consumer electronics laws, regulations, and industry trends.
• Utilize Conveyancer and Document Management skills to ensure efficient handling of legal documents.
Requirements
• Must hold a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be licensed with the State Bar of Arizona
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Litigation Associate Attorney
• Experience in briefing, civil litigation, claim administration, complaint handling, and consumer electronics is required
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction where the firm is located
• Must have strong research and analytical skills
• Must have experience in drafting and negotiating legal documents
• Must be able to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Must have strong ethical and professional standards.
