*Summary *   

As an HR Services Coordinator, you will serve as the primary contact to all partners, employees, former employees, and retirees on payroll, benefits, and other HR transaction and policy-related questions. You will handle inquiries and problems in order to provide an exceptional employee experience and provide clear advice and information. You will also utilize knowledge base and case management tools to assist in responding to HR inquiries.

  

Location

This position is remote. Candidates should reside within reasonable commuting distance to the home office and must be based in one of the following offices: Tampa, Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Reston, Phoenix, San Diego, Seattle, or Short Hills office. Candidates must be able to work Monday through Friday 11:30am – 8:00pm EST.

  

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to partners, employees, former employees and retirees.

  • Research and resolve HR transaction and policy related problems utilizing knowledge base information in a timely manner. Explain insurance coverage and other benefits; assist in completing enrollment in benefit programs; answers payroll questions, etc.

  • Monitor Human Resources applications, processes, and content in order to identify opportunities for improvement. Assist with creating and updating knowledge content on an ongoing basis.

  • Input, update, and/or retrieve information from various human resources systems.

  • Manage the accuracy, accessibility, timeliness and consistency of data. Monitor completeness, validity, consistency, timeliness and accuracy of data.

  • Administer off-cycle salary changes which include, promotional adjustments, off-cycle market adjustments, equity reviews and other adjustments.

  • Process involuntary terminations. Where applicable, it also includes processing of separation payments, outplacement enrollment, and other downstream handoffs.

  • Govern and execute data changes for a large number of employees at one time.

  • Record and track paid and unpaid leave in accordance with the firm’s leave policies.

  • Enter invoices into accounts payable system, ensuring accurate allocation to general ledger accounts.

  • Route inquiries to appropriate individual for escalation, as appropriate.

  • Maintain working knowledge of company policies and procedures to provide guidance to employees and managers and to ensure compliance and consistency.

  • Identify operational inefficiencies (simplify, enhance, eliminate) and recommend process improvements.

  • Maintain HR records to include personnel files and other employee documents.

  • Document all contacts and outcomes within the HR Case Management application.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills   

 Able to communicate comfortably and provide clear explanations to all levels of people, and use discretion when communicating sensitive information. In depth knowledge of benefits, policies, payroll and other HR-related areas as well as federal and state regulatory requirements. Express interest and curiosity in understanding why something is done a certain way, ask appropriate questions and identify relevant resources for answers, knows when to escalate a matter. Identify ways to improve operational efficiency and meet deadlines. Strong customer service focus centered on building an exceptional employee experience including responding quickly to requests, acknowledging receipt of requests when unable to provide a resolution within the allotted timeframe. Able to work as part of a high performance team and perform with minimal supervision. Invest in continuous self-improvement, volunteer for new assignments, take ownership of work, and produce quality work products. Ability to learn quickly. Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel); Workday and ServiceNow or similar system experience.

Minimum Education   

  • High School or GED

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field

Minimum Years of Experience

  • 2 years’ relevant experience supporting at least three areas of human resources

Physical Demands   

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.  

  

Work Environment   

  • Hybrid - Regular in-office presence with some flexibility for work-from-home

The expected pay range for this position, if hired to work in Los Angeles, San Diego, or Seattle, is $33.41 - $48.46 per hour. Non-exempt positions will be paid on an hourly basis and paid overtime in accordance with applicable laws. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
