Global Account Manager is responsible for a single large strategic client, reporting to Client Executive on the account.

YOUR IMPACT
As a Global Account Manager at Cisco, you’ll manage a growth target for a large strategic account. You will target opportunities by lines of business and use available resources to aggressively pursue opportunities. You'll have a ‘hunter’ mentality, while at the same time exhibiting strategic sales savvy and building strong relationships with customers. You will sell in a matrixed environment that requires a customer-first approach, all the while establishing an outcome where everybody wins.
You will play a pivotal role in growing the company's revenue by identifying new sales opportunities and expanding relationships with existing lines of business.
By understanding the client’s needs and delivering tailored solutions, you will improve customer satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
Through strategic account planning and execution, you will help improve Cisco's visibility and reputation in the market.
You will serve as a vital link between the customer and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to meet client objectives.
By providing insights from customer interactions and market trends, you will contribute to the development and refinement of effective sales strategies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
12+ years of technology sales experience.
A consultative seller and strategic problem solver.
A fast-moving team player and self-starter with a structured, execution-driven mentality.
Demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience leading a large account, including forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentation skills, and short/mid/long term opportunity management.
Requires expertise in the market and strong technical knowledge. You can deliver business value to the account and build on customer relationships.
Expertise in working with complex and global strategic accounts, including interaction with decision makers and all other executives within the account.
You can demonstrate negotiation skills with peers, partners, and customers using a win/win philosophy.
Be able to position end-to-end solutions and articulate Cisco strategies to senior customer executives.
Customer engagement will mostly be local to Phoenix area, but customer and business travel will also be required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A higher education degree (undergraduate or graduate preferred) in business or engineering, with IT/tech industry expertise and strong business acumen.
Consistent track record of leading and growing global strategic accounts, driving multi-million-dollar revenue growth, and navigating sophisticated global organizations to develop long-term, positive relationships.
You have the ability to deliver business value to both End Users and Partners.
You have strong technical and business knowledge with complimentary skills to understand the customers’ business drivers and then align them to Cisco solutions.
You're an ambitious self-starter with ability to articulate Cisco product and business strategies, and create the demand to complete the deal.
