Position Summary
The Fire Sprinkler Foreman is responsible for overseeing, directing, and working alongside a project team. The Foreman ensures standards and deadlines are met for layout, assembly, and install fire sprinkler piping and related materials to the specifications of engineering/design, architectural, and structural blueprints.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Read and interpret engineering/design, architectural, and structural blueprints and plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair, according to specifications.
Select pipe sizes, types, or related materials, such as supports and hangers, for layout and installation.
Perform cutting, fitting, and pipe connection using threaded, soldered, brazed, or grooved joints and utilizing a variety of hand tools.
Inspect, examine, or test installed systems or pipe lines, using pressure gauge, observation, or other methods.
Install hydraulic components of machines and equipment, such as pumps.
Complete required paperwork/reports on each job including daily time, progress, duration, record of parts, material, labor, subs, returns, and other cost data per assignment.
Qualifications
May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Must possess working knowledge skills and abilities for position.
Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safe and efficiently.
Requirements
Able to meet all physical requirements.
Must have all required tools.
Expected to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces (may exceed 200 ft)
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload.
Observe and comply with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required.
