Diesel Truck Fleet Mechanics Needed ASAP

We are seeking a few skilled Diesel Truck Fleet Mechanics to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our diesel truck fleet.

Job Details & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and perform routine maintenance (PMs) and repairs on diesel trucks.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in trucks and heavy equipment. Service and maintain all types of engines

  • Repair and replace brakes, steering, engines, and electrical systems. Fix brakes, hydraulic, and ignition systems

  • Use diagnostic equipment and tools to test and repair vehicles.

  • Maintain detailed records of services and repairs.

  • Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental regulations.

  • Maintain equipment used in operations

Requirements:

  • DOT Fleet mechanic – diesel mechanic & trailers DOT certifiedDiesel mechanic certification (heavy diesel) – 26,000 pounds or more

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Diesel experience needed – ALL LEVELS 2+ years and up - Welcome to apply

  • Have reliable transportation to get to and from the shop(s)

  • Work independently with minimal supervision

  • Skilled with tools and diagnostic equipment

  • Welding knowledge/experience is a huge plus (and would get extra $) but not required

  • At times, be willing to travel to the Tucson plant to work.

Shift and Salary : First shift (early) starts around 5am to 2:30/3pm

$35-40/hour

Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
