Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. In this role, your primary function will be to provide IT support, particularly focusing on the technical aspects of the onboarding process for new employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support during the onboarding of new employees

• Configure and troubleshoot Windows 11 operating systems on PCs

• Attend to minor PC repair tasks as and when required

• Ensure smooth and efficient setup of PCs for new employees

• Utilize your basic troubleshooting skills to resolve any IT related issues promptly and efficiently

• Maintain an updated knowledge of the desktop operating system to provide accurate support. Requirements • Proficiency in Windows 11

• Demonstrable experience in Basic Troubleshooting

• Knowledge of Desktop Operating Systems

• Proven experience as a Desktop Support Analyst or similar role

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work under pressure

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently

• Familiarity with ITIL framework and ITSM tools

• Basic knowledge of network protocols and infrastructure

• Understanding of computer hardware components and peripherals

• Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and developments

• High level of patience and customer service skills

• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues

• Excellent organizational skills

• Willingness to work flexible hours if required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
