salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 6:30 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Evaluates manufacturing processes by conducting process analysis, ing knowledge of product design, fabrication, machine programming, assembly, tooling, and materials, and soliciting observations from operators/production technicians.

• Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying and testing manufacturing methods and equipment. Prepares work instructions to communicate manufacturing requirements to production personnel.

• Recommends and implements changes to manufacturing processes by analyzing production, labor standards, and material costs.

• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, establishing industry networks, benchmarking state- of-the-art practices, and or participating in professional associations.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• standing for 10 hours at one time

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week

Skills

• CNC (3 years of experience is required)

• Fabrication (3 years of experience is required)

• machine programming (1 year of experience is preferred)
