Rotates Amongst Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley locations

Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

The purpose of theChildren’s Clinical Managerposition is to assist the Director of Children’s Services in the overall direction of health and clinical services, in both Health Centers and in the community as part of our school based and/or community-based programs in partnership with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Arizona. This position oversees the areas of clinical services and activities including, performance review, patient relations, patient’s safety, regulatory compliance and service excellence. The Clinical Manager specializes in and serves as subject matter expert in at least one of the following areas: school-aged prevention, early childhood development, trauma treatment or adolescent substance use prevention and treatment.

The Clinical Manager provides clinical and administrative supervision, clinical oversight, training and mentoring for assigned staff. The position supervises clinical activities ensuring clinical programming supports the Terros Health’s whole person whole health philosophy, is in accordance with state and federal regulations and meets licensure/accreditation standards. Ensures compliance with budgets and coordination of clinical and primary care services with the purpose of improving the overall health of clients/patients under the site’s purview. Under general supervision of the Director of Children’s Services, the Clinical Manager performs essential functions including, but not limited to:

  • Provides and documents clinical and administrative supervision, consultation, and mentoring of daily clinical operations for direct reports ensuring that the needs of members are being met and that services are delivered as outlined in each member’s assessment and Individual Service Plan.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family therapy or related field Licensed at the independent level preferred, or able to obtain their license within 6 months of hire (LCSW, LMFT, LPC), in accordance with ARS Chapter 33, Article 1, under the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners preferred.

  • 1 to 3 years’ experience or equivalent combination of experience and education working as a Clinician.

  • Preferred minimum 1-year management and or/program supervisory experience.

  • Good communication skills, evidenced by a non-judgmental approach, effective listening and positive interactions.

  • Thorough understanding of clinical documentation requirements and procedures.

  • DSM-V competency

  • Proficiency using computer-based systems including electronic health records, Microsoft Outlook, and other Microsoft Office products.

  • Must have or be able to attain CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days of assuming role.

  • Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role.

  • Must have valid Arizona driver’s license, be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience, and meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy.

  • Must pass a TB Test.
