Summary

B2B File Transfer Engineer – Integration Services

As an B2B File Transfer Engineer specializing in Integration Services, you will be at the forefront of delivering and maintaining cutting-edge software and hardware solutions, including next-generation technology such as cloud engineering and mobile applications.

What your day would be like:

You are responsible for:

  • Innovative Integration: Setup and test new file transfer using a managed/B2B file transfer platform

  • Production Support: Perform Managed File Transfer support responsibilities (24x7 on rotation) following standard operations processes

  • Root cause analysis and Error Resolution: Monitor and fix file transfer errors

  • EDI file transfer setup: Manage and setup EDI file transfers

  • Configuration Management: Manage configuration changes like password resets, certificate renewals, PGP keys, etc.

  • SFTP Configuration: Setup new SFTP sites for new B2B file transfers

  • Manage Security Configurations: Work closely with our security team to grant access to individuals and system accounts, maintaining high standards of security and compliance.

  • Customer Service Excellence: Demonstrate a strong dedication to providing high-quality customer service, addressing, and resolving issues promptly.

  • Problem-Solving Expertise: Apply effective problem-solving skills and root cause analysis to troubleshoot software and system problems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

    The kinds of people we want to talk to have done many of the following:

  • Required Experience: 4-5 years of experience with:

  • FTP protocols/technologies - FTPS, SFTP, PGP encryption

  • Supported and managed critical file transfers (exchanged files with banks/financial trading partners)

  • Supported centralized EDI file transfers and B2B/FTP transfers

  • Understands EDI standards - VAN, AS2, X12 standard documents - 810, 820, 850, 997

  • Setting up and managing FTP sites in IIS (Internet Information Server), VShell

  • Understands data security, privacy and controls related to B2B file transfers

  • Programming: Java, .Net, Windows operating system scripts, SQL

  • Experience working with multiple teams

    *Employees in Flex roles are required to reside in Arizona (or NM for Four Corners-based employees). Role types are subject to change based on business need.

Minimum Requirements

B2B File Transfer Engineer – Integration Services, Cloud & Mobile Solutions

  • Bachelors' degree in Information Technology or related field

  • AND five (5) years of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.

  • Requires strong technical knowledge within a job area or system and basic knowledge across related technical areas

    Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualifications

  • Highly desirable: 1-2 years’ experience with TIBCO BusinessConnect and TIBCO BusinessWorks

  • Knowledge of multiple programming languages, database management systems and development platforms

  • Skills in understanding and explaining highly technical issues and solutions in non-technical terms;

  • Working effectively in teams and across organizations;

  • Balancing and prioritizing between multiple work streams

  • Collaborating with colleagues and teams in different fields across a diverse organization; solving advanced complex problems in own area of work

Major Accountabilities

1) Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software programs for enhancements and new products and/or in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms

2) Analyzes and assists with creating reusable and enterprise-level modules/applications

3) Conducts performance reviews and recommends improvements to existing codes

4) Reviews and recommends equipment, resources and software

5) Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards.

6) Trains users in conversion and implementation of system

7) Conduct integration system testing and evaluations

8) Leads the design, development and implementation of new solutions

  • Manage and support centralized B2B file transfer platform

  • Manage and support centralized EDI file transfer platform

  • Manage and Support PGP encryption/decryption keys

  • Setup new EDI and B2B file transfers using a centralized B2B platform

  • EDI file transfers, EDI specifications to XML transformations, XML to EDI transformations

  • Manage and Support SFTP site

  • Manage and Support credentials, certificates – SFTP, FTPS

Flex Role:

This position is not required to be performed at a specific APS facility as long as adequate technology and a solid ergonomic set up are present. Pending agreement with leadership, employees hired into this role will be able to choose where they prefer to perform their work. Employees will have two options to choose from:

  • APS office based: The employee prefers to work most of the time from an APS facility.

  • Home based: The employee prefers to work most of the time from his/her home.
