About the role

The purpose of the Associate Project Manager - Data Analytics is to collaborate and support the project management team for financial institution clients with a program-focused solution that provides business intelligence and real estate data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a background in data mining, data manipulation, and data optimization through programs such as Tableau and PowerBi.

What you’ll do

  • Develop data modeling, data manipulation, aggregation, and analysis of quantitative data; forecast and trending of performance data to derive actionable intelligence using programming languages and data visualization tools.

  • Participate in the whole cycle of dashboard and analytics development from understanding clients' needs through data sourcing, and development of dashboards and analytics.

  • Create, maintain, and optimize data visualizations and dashboards (in Tableau, Power BI, Dash, etc.).

  • Contribute to implementing the agile methodology for analytics and reporting development while assuring data integrity and effective report validation.

  • Responsible for communicating with various stakeholders, such as clients, other analysts, platform developers, project managers, etc.

  • Participates in technology-focused or technology-influenced strategic plan formulation. Owns the success of custom programming and Power BI (Business Intelligence) design, implementation, business acceptance, and system effectiveness.

  • Inform and keep senior/executive management abreast of technology projects, policies and/or issues. Works with all stakeholders to communicate progress and expectations to the organization.

  • Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements.

  • Identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred. A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with data management, manipulation, and analysis skills in the commercial real estate industry (4 years of experience preferred).

  • Experience with data mining, data marts as data sources, data manipulation, and data optimization.

  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex data sets with a strong focus on accuracy, validation, and integrity.

  • Proven skills in communicating with stakeholders to gain requirements and gather information

  • Proficiency in database technologies such as Microsoft Access or SQL Server and Power BI.

  • Expert-level usage of products such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau, SmartSheet, Jira, and SQL.

  • Ability to present information to a variety of different audiences (both internal and external).

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
